Piano stairs and no chairs

This morning, to my delight, as we road the metro to our tour, which started at the Duomo, we were serenaded by an accordion and a violin. It was so beautiful! Then we took a tour around Milan where Roberto talked about how Milan is a layered city where modern life juxtaposes classical heritage. I took a couple pictures as we walked along and many notes along with sketches. We finally arrived back at the doumo and met up with kim to have pizza. Afterwards we shopped around for a bit and once exhausted headed back to our apt. I stopped at the grocery store to pick up a couple things and was glad to finally take my shoes off and rest my feet from standing and walking all day. The sun graced us with its presence as we shopped and it instantly brightened our moods as we watched the light play off the old buildings and streets.
